What we collect
To check a visitor in, myvisitors.appcollects a visitor's name, phone, company, purpose of visit, and a photo (selfie). Hosts and staff have accounts with a name, email, and role.
Why we collect it
This information is used to notify the host, issue a digital badge, verify identity at reception, maintain an accurate on-site occupancy record, and produce visit reports for the customer.
Who can see it
Access is role-based and scoped by location. Location admins only see their own office's data. Visitor data is shown only to the relevant host and authorised staff.
Retention
Visitor selfies are cleaned up automatically on a schedule. Visit records are retained per the customer's configured policy. Retention periods are configurable — contact us for your requirements.
Controller & processor
The customer (the organisation running the front desk) is the data controller. myvisitors.app / Heuristic Labs acts as the data processor. For data requests, contact Heuristic Labs at [email protected].
